Monthly Meetings from Tues 7th Sept

Wiltshire TRF will re-starting our monthly meetings from Tuesday 7th September from 7pm. If you are interested in finding out more about Wiltshire TRF, please come and join us The Pilot, Bowerhill, Melksham. These will be informal gatherings in the bar initially until we are ready to reconvene more formal meetings in the function room.

Wiltshire TRF are changing their monthly meeting venue back to the “The Pilot” 56 Blenheim Park, Bowerhill, Melksham SN12 TA.

The FEBRUARY meeting will be held on THURSDAY 6th FEBRUARY with a fun packed evening with the “White Helmet Display Team”.

The MARCH Meeting will be held on TUESDAY 3rd MARCH, with all further monthly meetings being held on the first Tuesday of the month (see the Events page for details).

Wessex Wanderer 2020

Wessex Wanderer 2020

Wiltshire TRF’s “Wessex Wanderer” event will be held on the bank holiday weekend of 8th, 9th and 10th of May which will hopefully mean THREE days of guided trail riding for participants!

Further details on the Wessex Wanderer event can be found at on the TRF website.

The event will be held at Blackland Lake Campsite nr Calne as per the previous 2 years.

Online registration will commence on Saturday 4th January 2020 and – like previous years – is expected to sell-out within twenty-four hours. The event will be advertised via the TRF “Trail” website and facebook page sites and bookings will be via the Eventbrite Site.
Beneficiaries will include Wiltshire Air Ambulance .

Great Christmas Escape 2019

Steve Burbidge hosts his annual charity guided trail riding event around Hampshire, Wiltshire and Salisbury Plain Training Area on Sunday the 29th of December at 08:30.

Entry is £40 but FREE to anyone willing to lead a group of riders on a legal route of their own creation.

The event starts from Burbidge’s Bakery in Andover and will include a route of green roads heading west to Tilshead, where a bakery lunch graciously provided by Burbidge’s Bakery will once again be available by kind permission of Hunt Forest Group. The ride will finish at the The Bell Inn near Weyhill.

Beneficiaries of this year’s event will include Wiltshire TRF, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and Andover Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland Club.

Big thanks to Steve and Becky Burbidge for another fantastic day trail riding from Andover to Imber Village and raising money for local charities. Approx 350 motorbikes took part and hopefully raised in the region of £9K.
